so tonight i went to a scremo concert with sarah, max, andrew, and tony. i wasnt really expecting to becoem like good friends with andrew but now we have like inside jokes that have been formed in one night. like when the last band was singing max, sarah, and tony were gone a for a bit soi followed andrew to where the mosher people were. and i was like terrified that i was going to get killed. but the closes they got weas that they back me into other people and almost kicked my head. BUTHEY im alive so thats good. also there was like a water bottle that i swear was suspened in air for like 10 seconds then finally landed right in front of my feet when i thought it was going to hit me. of course that could of been because of all the smokers that were there, and there was a possibility that i got contact high. but yeah fun! then the final band said the words that made it all worth while. 'girls we knwo you want to CONCUR THE COCK. and for you guys go on and FUCK THAT FUCKING PUSSY' so yes i have a feeling that andrew and i have the beinnging of a beautiful friendship coming along ^_____________^

a change of pace

i think that when im around other people who are dating and i see them kissing and hugging and whateverelse couples do, i begin to feel not really left out but behind every one else. i just want to get up and have some sort of relationship. i mean its not like i havent kissed a guy or dated one, its just that it's been so long that ive come to a point that i just dont count them anymore. at the time they seemed important but now, i dont really know what was going on then. they feel so insignificant. i suppose you could say i want something real. something so i dont have to say 'one day, ill have a relationship like them and will be happy'. but find myself so picky that too the point i have to find a flaw in someone that makes me think why did i ever like him. every one has flaws though so if i keep going at this pace i will never be with someone. i want to be. i dont know who long that will take. in a way we're sortof stuck to the people close to us. meaning most people here date who goes to their school or something. in my case i find most of the guys at my school gross except for some of my guy friends. i dont know. maybe its just me, and it probably is. ill try looking for something good in you next time. promise.

online friendships.

The dictionary definition of friend ship is “The state of being a friend, a friendly relationship, or friendly feeling or disposition.” As you see no where is it stated where a friend can be found. No where is it stated that a friend has to be seen constantly to be a true friend. And no where is it stated that you can’t be a friend with someone who lives far away. In today’s society the internet and cell phones are a big part of our lives. Sometimes people text more then they actually communicate with one other. So why are people surprised when friends are made of over the internet. Is it weird to have friends online? Is it strange to have never seen these people? For me, no. There is many different ways to communicate these days. IM chats, email, phone, texting, pen-pals. And the list goes on. I have friends from England, Ireland, and in different states. And its completely natural for us to talk. As I go on, maybe you’ll start to see that too. When you see your friends everyday, how much do you actually talk? A real conversation with no distractions. And after can you honestly say you’ve learned something about that person? Calling someone your “best friend” these days I’ve noticed can be used very lightly. If you are in the lunch lines and someone comes up to you and asks “Can you please buy me some food, I’m like starving , I’ll be your best friend?” There something about this question that we can’t say no too. The thought of gaining a friend draws us in. We all know that after you have given this person your money that they skip off into the distance, and you are most likely never going to speak to them again. This is not to say that people trick you daily with the word “best friend” But that it is being used without real meaning. Just because you see someone all the time, doesn’t technically mean that you get to know them better. When going to the movies for example. You are sitting in a quiet theater for 2 hours, and for the most part not talking. Those 2 hours could of been made talking about a variety of things. Some of the things we do in society these days compared to a few decades back is completely different. People say that technology is to blame for this change. And in certain ways, it is. We are evolving at rapid pace. We now have touch screen cell-phones, and high speed internet. So the next time you use the phrase “best friend” think about it, do you really mean it? The website Youtube is know not just for its viral videos, but for the large community within it. There are your average VLoggers, musicians, gurus, and sketch makers. Every once in a while there are big youtubers such as Smosh or Fred. These names hold high power in the youtube society. Meaning you either love them or you hate them. There are cliches just like there are in real life and with them come rivals. Making videos on this site can sometimes not be a light thing. There will always be haters leaving nasty comments on your channel or video. For me, when I get comments like these, I don’t call up my friends on the phone, but instead go to my msn and see who’s online. And this is where online friendships comes in. The friends who you have not technically met but have seen their videos and them on webcams, maybe even talked to on your cell. These are the friendships that rely only on conversation. It’s not like you can go out and meet them whenever you want. It’s possible that they live thousands of miles away. Yet, is it possible to get to know these people just as much or maybe even more than your in real life friends? Yes, it is. When you talk, it’s usually about what we did today, what we’re doing later, what we like, what we don’t like. And so many other things. When I asked one of my online friends what friendship means to them and it was someone who you could trust with anything and who you could love. So, you could say, I have a really strong friendship with them.

When I tell someone that I have friends online, I usually get a reaction that goes along the lines of “Wow, that’s so weird. Do you have any really friends?” As you can see this statement is very disheartening and says something about people today. That we have not yet realized where a friend can come from. And where they can be found. Having these friendships means a lot too me. Sometimes I can go to these people with any problem that I might have gone to with my in real life friends. People don’t know how strong the friendships can be, most of the time we relate on almost every topic. And in 7 months I’ve been on youtube, I can’t imagine my life without the people I’ve met.

When life is going by as quick as a train, most of us take advantage of what we have. We over look our friends sadly. Our time together is a roller coaster in its slightest. I have a dream that people will notice that friendships can be made everywhere. Not just at your school or local club.
Personally I’ve learned about many different cultures and I know that it will help me in the long run. If you’re going to get anything out of this, just next time your with a friend: Ask them something about their lives. You may be surprised.

my saturday.

basically. ive spent the entire day either reading or doing mathz assignments. then watching discovery channel. currently dirty jobs which is amazing. and so is mythbusters and man vs. wild. im a geek. i think part of the reason i love man vs. wild is because the host guy person is english and i love his voice. there was one episode when he was just in his boxers and they had the uk flag on them. the first month of 2009.

it went all right i suppose. it i could pick one word to sum up the month it would probably be..(i should have thought of something before i typed this)relevations? ive realized that the friendships ive lost are never going to come back, or atleast ever be the same as they were before. i know have new and possibly better friends that fill up that gap and hopefully wont ever leave me for a different crowd of people again. how was your january?

strobe lights.

so in an earlier post today, i mentioned that i was going to a party. and i did. it was pretty fun. there was this point that i was just sort-of staring at the lights that were changing colours and flashing. again and again. there was this boy we saw who was like in a courner with his friends like surrounding him. i then found out that he was crying. i felt really bad, even though i didnt know him. but i still wanted to go like comfort him for some reason. that would be impossible though since his friends were like his fucking bodyguards and when we got just like close to them they would shoo us away like we were flies. it was. weird. i kept on touching random peoples hair when they would walk by me, and laugh at their faces when they looked around confused. then near the end of everything, i saw this really cute guy. i felt like a freak just looking on at him. im slightly sad that i probably wont see him ever again, i didnt even know his name lol. anyways tomorrow im going to see uninvited with some friends. will be fun.

me max sarah and savannah went to the 101 today to meet up with some people at the beach park. i took a lot of pictures but james stole my wings. i forgot that he did for a while then the 4 of us left for 7 11 to get food and wax. we then went on a epic journey to find the other people and save my lost wings from james. eventually we did. then savannah went home and me sarah and max back to my place to get bathing suits to go to the jacuzzi near where max lives. i never knew max liked pokemon, and he had giant pikachus everywhere and pokemon posters. so i was just like eee! then we went to the jacuzzi and played truth or dare. i already knew i was most innocent person out of the three and most awkward. just my presence can make situations awkward sometimes. it was weird asking truth questions to max, even though ive known him since i was 2 and sarah was a whole lot closer to him. even though max and sarah arent dating, i still always become the third wheel. i like them though. we got on to weird subjects and i just sortof blanked out and layed on the concrete for a while before they joined me. i feel like a freak. i wonder where we'll be in a few years. my train of thought varies. bye

today was the inaguration for Obama. I can honestly say it my proudest moment being an american. its amazing how it was the day after martin luther king jr day. on the way to school this moring, they were playing the recording of martin luther of him saying that in at most 40 years we will have a black president. its been 40 years and we now do. someday when i think back onto this i will probably wonder where i was at the exact moment he was sworn into office, and that was second period science with mr. williams. watching bush get on that plane back to texas was such a great moment [some of us actually cheered x]] im happy. GO OBAMA FTW!

sitting under store lights.

today was pretty much great. i went out to the forum planning on meeting some people but ending up ditching them within 5 minutes once we (me mercedes and sarah) saw who they were with. sarah called up andrew and we spent this day all together instead. it was fun just walking around. we went into borders and found this Would you Rather book and asked through a bunch of qestions. then we just sortof walked around and had a late lunch. eventually we got bored and just sat outside of tilly's talking for a while. i really want to start hang out with andrew more, he seems like he can be an awesome friend. and yeah, that was my day.

and now i feel like i only have a couple stable friends who dont feel like they are going to drift away at any second. its times like these i really look to my internet friends to talk too. i just hope they dont fade away too.

back to school.

after 2 weeks school starts again tomorrow. yet, it doesn't feel like break is really over even though there is just a few more hours. im some ways im excited to go back and in some im terrified. im excited to see friends i didnt get to see over the 2 weeks and getting to hang out with them again. even being in some classes im sort-of missing. sort-of. but in a same way im scared to go back to some classes. also to face ridiculous, un-needed drama which comes hand in hand here. 2nd semester starts soon. im only a half a year away from actually having to think about where my life is going. im not sure if im ready for that yet. but maybe i am and a half a year is all i need to figure that out. i feel this confidence for next year like i felt for this year. but things dont always turn out the way you want them too. im not sure what im feeling. only time will tell. i still dont have a new years resolution. perhaps its not to have a new years resolution and just take life as it comes. and try not to interfer too much. maybe, just maybe ill turn out to be a better arin in 2009.
